Wow - such an incredible place to stay … just stunning and has absolutely everything you need and the most wonderful host! We had the best night’s sleep - the beds were so comfortable, the room was huge for 4 people and the shower had the best pressure!!! We didn’t want to leave and will definitely be back - the area is absolutely stunning!

We loved the attention to detail, especially the vintage record player with Japanese vinyls and how well stocked the kitchen was (oil, spices, rice, coffee etc. - the best we had in Japan!). Staff was very accommodating. Very spacious, perfect for our group. We had to change the group size due to a mistake of our own and it was very easy to resolve, thank you for that. We had a great time!

Everything about our stay was just perfect. From being picked up at the train station, delicious homemade meals with records playing in the background, a beautifully appointed home, friendly and helpful hosts, riding through the countryside on electric bikes and being driven to & picked up from Koyasan. Nice house in small village. But this is not only the facilities that make this a great place, it’s the hosts! Absolutely authentic and nice people that made our stay here the best part of our trip. It feels like combining a cultural exchange program bundled in a simple nice hotel. To top it off, the food they prepare is top notch! Really fantastic!!!!
