Exceptional experience. Everything was explained well for foreigners. The staff was very nice and helpful! The inner garder is marvellous. The Buddhist food was very good and a real inspiration for future cooking experiments!

Beautiful property and the host was amazing. He was so nice and gave amazing recommendations. He called a restaurant to make a reservation for which he recommended and it was one of the best yakiniku places we’ve been to. We also went out to a karaoke bar with him and we had a great time! It was a nice property but the host made the experience even better!

Tommy and his wife are two of the nicest people we have met on our trip. Don’t miss the breakfast they offer at the cute little cafe next door. It is delicious. They gave us a good suggestion for dinner, they stored our luggage, and they were super friendly.

The location is very close to Okunoin, the owner takes time to introduce attractions nearby and is very attentive to questions and requests. Meals can also be served which is a huge plus.

Excellent experience, very different from normal busy tourist days. The staff was very nice, and the rooms are modest as they should be. They only serve vegetarian meals. The temple is located at the beginning of the city. I would recommend walking (40 min with no stops) to the other side of the town, where the famous Okunoin Cemetery lies. In this way, you get to see all the temples and parks that are there, and then you can take a bus or taxi on the way back.

The whole experience is a must, the morning prayer experience was fantastic the food at dinner and breakfast are totally different but fantastic and tasty
