Staff is so friendly. Public area are comfortable. Have Refrigerator( ice-making function）,bathroom (Shampoo.shower gel) You Just need to prepare own towel, have washer, terrace. IF you want to dine together, Write your name up on the whiteboard before 5pm, Just 1000 JPY , Staff will prepare dinner at 8pm . I really feel at home here.

The most beautiful quaint little house on the island. It’s charm is not only in its traditional feel, but the care and deliberation the owner dedicates to it. Every corner of the house has its own unique flair. From a welcoming foot bath with flowers, to one of the most incredible breakfasts I have had (made with ingredients from the host’s own garden) , the stay in Travelers House is one of the highlights of my trip in Yaeyama islands. They were the sweetest hosts who picked me up at the airport, drove us guests around the island on a little tour when it was raining and offered nice socializing. The room is large and the beds are the most comfortable - actually better than the one I have at home. Also really nice with a bathtub. Close to Fusaki Beach

Such a nice and welcoming family who runs this guesthouse! Kitchen is great for cooking. Bathrooms spacious. Chill living room. 5 minute walk to the ferry port, main izakayas and shopping. I recommend everyone to stay there :)

Ayumi is a great host, she has everything clean, well organised and makes you feel like at home. It is a good chance to experience Taketomi from a rural perspective, and also she offers all the guests a drink at night which allows you to meet other guests! A very warming experience.
