I rented a bicycle to explore the old town center, which was delightful. The inn is surrounded by green tea companies, including a famous matcha producer just a few minutes’ walk away - perfect for tea enthusiasts! Practical amenities abound: a 24/7 supermarket with fresh products is right by the station. Inside, the inn is cozy and peaceful. My room was small but clean and comfortable. The shared kitchen and living room with a nice dining table made it easy to feel at home. The owners are friendly and accommodating. Highly recommended for anyone wanting to experience Japan’s tea culture while maintaining easy access to Kyoto’s attractions.

The house is cosy, clean and well designed. We enjoy our stay very much. Our kids love the hot tub. The vending machine in front of the house is a life saviour. We packed our luggage as light as we could because there is a washing machine with dryer provided in the unit.
