Unfortunately, I was only in the accommodation for one day, but it was a great experience. Not easy to find, but the accommodation had a lot of charm, a beautiful garden and the room was ryokan style. And especially noteworthy: Yuki was very helpful and advised me well in my travel planning to Naoshima and Teshima. Everything worked out great too ;-)

This Inn is perfectly located if you want to travel to the Art Island, right next to the pier. Also the staff was great and welcoming and they had a really great coffee all day long. Nice touch - the photo of you they can do and send you later via email as a reminder of a great time. Definitely can recommend.

We had a wonderful stay on Mukoujima island. The island is very small with a lot of nature and a wonderful beach. The host was extremely friendly and caring. He drove us by boat to Naoshima port and back, cooked us wonderful dinner and breakfast and showed us around the island. We had a great time and would have loved to stay longer.

The accommodation is extremely comfortable and equipped with all the necessities. You'll find an umbrella handy for rainy days in Naoshima, a telephone available for your use, high-quality tea, cutlery, and dishes, a comfortable bathroom, complimentary dental care, and bath amenities. The door is fitted with an easy-to-use lock system, eliminating the need to carry keys during your walks, among other conveniences—all at your disposal! The accommodation is not close to the Naoshima bus terminal(about 20min walk); however, convenient buses traverse the entire island, making it easily accessible. Our host, Jhonny, was exceptionally kind and warmly welcomed us. He adeptly led conversations and readily assisted us in every way possible. Jhonny offered invaluable advice on places to visit, provided ferry timetable information, and even volunteered to pick us up from the Naoshima bus terminal. He also made a restaurant reservation for us upon our arrival. Truly an outstanding individual!

Sparky’s House is situated in a very quiet part but yet really conveniently located. The staff is really helpful & knowledgeable. The breakfast included with our stay was served at Sparky’s Cafe, just 4 minutes walk away. Great fruit, yoghurt, eggs & bread with coffee and capuccino to die for.

The owners were very responsive on booking.com before I arrive, that helped greatly! I also liked that the apartment was huge! perfect for 2 or more to share one room, I think. Lastly, the accommodation provides free bicycles to use :)
