10/10 EXPERIENCE 😍 The accommodation is very cozy and the family that welcomes you is nice and attentive. When we woke up in the morning they prepared us a typical Sri Lankan breakfast and in the afternoon we did a cooking workshop with them! We cooked together and then we ate, the result was delicious! It was very interesting to learn how to cook their typical dishes. They also gave us a lot of advice and help to prepare our route through the country the following days. I would definitely recommend this place to any friend passing through Anurahdapura. It's great if you want to really get to know the culture of the country. It is also a very central location. Thank you Gihan and all your family for making these days an unrepeatable experience! We took a friend with us.

We had the best stay at Meegahapokuna. The location is right next to the temple district, which is convenient for sightseeing. The family that runs the place are incredibly kind. They made sure that we were comfortable throughout our stay and helped us to rent bicycles and to find our bus at the station. The husband brought us in their tuktuk to these places. Their cooking is out of this world! We tried many of the dishes on the menu and all contained deep flavours, were freshly made and very filling. Some of the best food we ever had and for a good price. There is a nice 10 minute walk to the lake and the daughters accompanied us, thanks for the lovely chat! Bird-lovers can eat their heart out; while sitting in the relaxing chairs next to the pond at the resort we spotted many waterbirds, kingfishers, pelicans, hornbills, bee-eaters, eagles etc etc They have almost finished building a new, luxurious room at the second floor with great views over the rice fields.

The entire place had calm and peaceful surrounding.Room was well maintained,neat and spotless.The bed is super comfortable.Bathroom was super clean with hot water.Most special thing is the host Mr.Gihan and his family were extremely attentive and helpful throughout our stay.We really enjoyed the delicious authentic village style foods.We had a chance to learn some traditional recipes by gihan's mom.She was lovely and that experience was amazing.We had a best village life experience also.Enjoyed our stay very much.Thank u!

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel, which is located in a peaceful and convenient area. The hotel provided a free pick-up service from the railway station, making my arrival hassle-free. The rooms were very comfortable, with well-functioning air conditioners, and everything was spotless, including the bathroom. The hotel also arranged a vehicle for all my tours at an affordable price, allowing me to explore the city with ease, including a fantastic city tour and a memorable visit to Mihinthale. The breakfast was well-arranged, and I enjoyed the beautiful garden view from the hotel. Overall, it was a quiet and pleasant place to stay, and I highly recommend it!

I had an amazing stay at Yu Home Stay Anuradhapura! The place was clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed. The hosts were so friendly and helpful, making me feel right at home. The location was great—close to "Anuradhapura puja city" (Near 3KM ) but still quiet and peaceful. Place was very clean and have everything I needed. They have kitchen, dining room, attached bathrooms per each room. Kitchen is Fully equipped with gas cylinder, burner, rice cocker, pots, knives, cutting board and everything needed. Overall, it was a wonderful stay, and I’d highly recommend this place to anyone. I’d definitely come back again! 😍
