Nisha and her brother are amazing people and received us very well. We chatted for hours and she shared with us her nightmare during the 2004 tsunami, a true warrior; Location is excellent, only 3min walking from the beach and also near some restaurants; The hammock in front of the room brings a special charm, the only place we found with this in Sri Lanka; Wifi worked perfectly; Nisha cooks very well and each day we had a different type of breakfast. The sri lankan style one was the best for me; In summary this was one of our favorite places during the trip

This property was located close to town and all the restaurants as well as the most wonderful little swim beach! Kevin was an incredible host and the rooms were large and clean! As we traveled out of season breakfast wasn’t provided, but we were able to use the kitchen to make ourselves meals. Highly recommend this property!

Location: The location is ideal.It's situated just a few hundred meters away from the main road (Potuvil - Panama) and the beach, giving you the best of both worlds. You get easy access to all the main surf points and town amenities, but you're far enough away to enjoy complete peace and quiet. It's the perfect tranquil escape after a day in the sun. The Room & Amenities: The room was fantastic—very spacious,spotlessly clean, and designed with comfort in mind. It was equipped with all the required amenities, and everything was in great working order. It truly felt like a home away from home. Overall Experience: I can't fault this place.For the comfort, space, and serene atmosphere, it offers incredible value. I would gladly give it a perfect 10 out of 10 for the room and overall experience. It’s a gem that provides a quiet, convenient, and comfortable base for your Arugam Bay adventures. I will definitely be returning on my next trip!

We loved our stay here. Apple, the host, is amazing and recommended a great surf lesson for us. The room was spacious and clean, with good air con and wifi. Outdoor shower was handy for rinsing sand off after the beach. Breakfast was delicious and was different every day.

Excellent place, especially for the managers and staff guys, extremely welcoming, available and ready to help you in case of need. Excellent location, central to shops, bars and restaurants and very convenient to reach the surf spots, but at the same time very quiet and peaceful. Extremely recommended

Location - location is right on the beach. Restaurant and bars are very close. Beautiful place for sunrise. If you like nature, this is the place to be! It has an open bathroom that will take a while to get used to but we loved it. We feel one with nature while we are there. Staff - people are amazing. I feel at home while staying at this place. We were very well taken care off. Thank you to Noni, Mali, Sami and Razeen. Always happy to help and have the beautiful smiles on their faces. We cant wait to go back. Lovely traditional Sri Lankan breakfast. 10/10. We loved our stay so much that we extended one more night to get more of it. Thank you for the roti class, for getting us fresh coconuts, that dinner that you prepared and the bonfire you help us set up. Thank you for making our stay memorable. 🤎

This is a really special place in Arugam Bay. We directly felt comfortable and welcome and Billie is the best host you can imagine. The breakfast was amazing and Billie is organizing activities e.g. bonfire at the beach, BBQ, or a drive to watch the sunset. The rooms are really nice and clean and the whole area is nice decorated and with all the plants you feel like in a dream. The location is close to the beach and you get to many restaurant within minutes walking. Thank you very much for this special time we had at Hakuna Matata!
