I had a fantastic stay at this guest house, which is perfectly located just 5 minutes from the local train station and only 10 minutes from the beautiful Weligama beach. The host was incredibly attentive and made sure all our needs were met, providing a welcoming and caring atmosphere throughout our stay. The kitchen is well-equipped, ideal for preparing meals, and the room was not only comfortable but also cozy and peaceful. The garden is a lovely retreat where you can relax and enjoy the surroundings. What’s more, the guest house has a great community vibe, making it an ideal place to meet fellow travelers and share experiences. It was easy to connect with other digital nomads and adventurers. My stay in rusara guest home was amazing. The family were super nice and friendly, but not overbearing at all. Helped with whatever I needed. Hot water for showers (wasn't needed for my stay as it was quite hot) , and a fan in the room made it all comfortable. Perfect place to relax for a few days , location right by the beach and a ten minute walk to cheap local food. Can very much recommend staying here if looking for somewhere to stay in weligama for a few nights.

Small hotel with just two numbers. Nice and silent. 1 minute walking to the beach. Family who works there are the friendliest people I ever met in Sri Lanka. I came at early morning (matched it on Booking) and easily checked in. Breakfasts are super. Also in the evening they made a pancake with chocolate and some smoothie.
