If you're planning a surf trip to Sri Lanka, Plantation is the perfect place to stay. Located just a stone's throw away from some of the best waves in the area, this hotel is also conveniently close to a variety of restaurants in Midigama that are worth checking out during your visit. What really made our stay special, though, was Chapu and his family. They welcomed us with open arms and went above and beyond to ensure that we felt right at home. Whether we needed advice on where to go or help with anything else, they were always there with a genuine smile and positive energy. The hotel itself is also top-notch, with all the amenities you need to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. And if there's anything else you need, just ask Chapu and his family – they'll make sure you're taken care of. One highlight of our stay was definitely the food. From refreshing juices and lassis to traditional Sri Lankan breakfast dishes, everything was delicious and reasonably priced. All in all, we wouldn't hesitate to stay at Plantation again if we return to Sri Lanka. Thank you, Chapu and family, for a wonderful experience!

Nice homestay located away from touristic rush. Anything I need was provided after my request (extra bed sheet, electric kettle). There is a table and a big standing mirror in the room which I liked. Guest can use the fridge and the washing machine.

I had a fantastic stay at this accommodation in Midigama! The room is very affordable, clean, and comes with a private or shared bathroom and a basic-equipped kitchen. The location is perfect for surfing, with many great surf spots nearby, and I love the rural atmosphere of the area. What truly made my experience special was the amazing family that runs the place. They are incredibly kind and attentive, always making sure I had everything I needed. When I wanted to rent a scooter, they took care of everything for me. First of all, it is a beautiful location in Midigama, in the jungle, where there is an atmosphere of tranquility and a feeling of home. The hosts are very friendly and kind people, always ready to help on any issue. The room is large and clean, it is possible to order food and drinks at great prices. You can also always buy drinking water, which is very convenient. The bed is comfortable, there is a great terrace where you can to do yoga, work and just relax. There is big parking for scooters, and my favourite option it is possible to wash clothes here. My friend and I have been living here for more than a month and Nature Guest House has become our second home!

We stayed here for 3 nights off-season and we really happy that we booked this hotel. Because it’s one of the few places that we really enjoyed in Weligam in May. Nice location , clean rooms and polite staff. Special thanks to owners Mr. and Mrs. Dias, they were very nice to us.
