I was very happy staying at the Lake Cabin. Everything was excellent. Waking up early to the sounds of birds, sitting on the balcony to watch the sunrise, eating breakfast, and watching fishermen on the lake. Perfect!!! I felt relaxed and enjoyed every minute.

The owners were amazing. They were very kind and caring. They cooked noodles upon my request and were very supportive for my trip. He also took me to the bus station in order for me not to get lost. The location was also perfect to start the trip, ‘em which is very close to the museum where we can buy a ticket to historical sites.

Clean rooms and bathrooms. Beautiful property. There are paddy fields adjacent to the property where peacocks and other birds come. Nice dining hall. Breakfast and dinner were good. The hosts were friendly and helpful.

I stayed at the resort for one night. It was an enjoyable experience. The staff was pleasant, and the service was excellent. The resort was nicely decorated. Hotel facilities were convenient. A secure environment to stay and dine. The food was excellent. The resort is close to Galviharaya, Parakrama Samudraya, Polonnaruwa National Museum, and the Wax Museum therefore overall an excellent location to stay.

Our host Pradeep and his family were excellent hosts. Pradeep especially was very kind and attentive to our needs. He gave us very good advice about visiting Polonnaruwa and brought us rental bicycles, which were the perfect way to see the ancient city. It would be difficult to find an accommodation any closer to the city and, if you are traveling on a budget, this spot provides an outstanding value for the price. Pradeep’s wife cooked us some excellent meals and we found the place to be very well kept. We would stay here again and recommend it to others.
