Everything. Brand new, facilities top notch, shower, bed and no humidity smell or sewerage which seems to be constant in Sri Lanka. lovely place to relax after a safari which owner arranged on the day for me. Great recommendations for food and a very helpful owner

It was the best stay in Sri Lanka but not the most expensive. Everything was clean, new, well mentained and functional. The host picked us up at the bus stop when we arrived and droped us off for free to another further junction when we left. When we went to our room, they already made the tea waiting for us. Also we had 2 bottles of water. Hot shwer worked well. For this price it was really like a true 4 star hotel. The room design was simple and elegant. Even though there was no air con, yhe night was cool. We really enjoyed this place! We booked the safari tour as well :) We had to leave earlier so we didn't take the lunch there. (USD 7 per person by the way)

We had a very pleasant stay. The room was big, very very clean a very nice and helpful host. Very clean bathroom also with a good shower (hot and cold). The food was delicious and we had the safari from the guesthouse. They also arranged a taxi to Ella for a reasonable price.

The Villa is beautiful, clean and well managed. Janith the host is great, he promptly takes action whatever you ask for. Great host, extremely friendly and professional . He even organized for us the safari tour, and I can admit that he is the best safari driver ever as well. With his assistance me and my wife where able to see lots of elephants from different distances, dancing peacocks, crocodiles, water buffalos and a lot of different other species. Thank You Janith !!! Highly recommended venue in case you travel to Udawalawe and wish to do the safari tour. The most comfortable stay.

We had a lovely stay at Mango Tree House. Sachith and his spouse are great hosts, extremely warm and welcoming. We also loved their friendly dog Shane. The garden is beautiful. We had dinner and breakfast there and the homemade food was delicious and perfect for my husband allergic to gluten and dairy. They allowed us to shower and check out after our safari. Thank you so so much for everything I definitely recommend

We had a brilliant stay at Hasthi cottage. The cottage was very spacious, clean and had a lovely outdoor bathroom and tub. Outside of the cottage was a lovely outdoor area. The cottage was near to the main road where there were some restaurants and shops. We were picked up from Mirissa and dropped off at Ella which was organised by Dasun and was a good price. In the morning we had a delicious Sri Lankan breakfast which was very filling. A laundry service is offered which we used and our clothes were returned the very next day. We went to the national park for the safari which was an amazing day. We were provided with a delicious breakfast and lunch. Our tour guide Pereira was super friendly and awnsered all our questions. He made sure we had time to watch the animals and helped us to take some incredible photos. Overall an amazing stay and would highly recommend.

Beautiful place, nice big rooms. They served fantastic home made food. We had very comfortable stop there for one night,. It's very nice family owned place and they were helpful to organize safari and transport to us.
