The room was neat and tidy and had all the comforts. The breakfast was beyond expectations! Jessica gave us a lot of tips about the area and helped us arranging a catamaran trip which was amazing.

The property is is a serene environment with a lot of outdoor space. There are food outlets nearby. The owners were very friendly. The parking is large too. Can take many cars.

Shanti Nivas is the place in Mauritius. A couple of minutes driving from the wonderful beaches of Belle Mare and Palmer beach, this is a great place to enjoy the best of Mauritius in a far more economic way. We had a spacious bedroom with private bathroom and a little kitchen where we could cook our own meals, But Shanti Nivas is a lot more than just a place to stay, this is a place where you feel like home. The host, Mr. jay is a one of a kind master host. He does everything to make you feel at home, and soon he became a friend. Don't expect a 5 stars resort by 1/10 of the price you pay for it in Mauritius, but you can certainly expect a 10 times better service. Thanks Jay, you're the man and you have built a quite unique concept in Mauritius by allowing everyone to have the possibility of visit the wonderful Mauritius with a limited budged. I cannot recommend enough your place to anyone who always dreamed to visit Mauritius but couldn't afford the extremely expensive hotels.

The owners, this sweet Mauritians couple, took good care of us. Our flight was canceled and we needed to stay one night extra. They were so nice with our kids, they helped us in contacting the.airport abd they also helped us with the shopping. It was like staying with family, we felt so lucky and grateful. Food, location and room were amazing. Thank you for everything and sorey it took me long to write this review. We will never forge how nice you were with us.

Chez Henri was a great find! We booked last minute and they kindly were able to get a room made up for us. The photos don't really do it justice; it's a lovely unique home with beautiful features. The room is on the top floor and is light, airy and spacious, with a sofa and a little kitchen area so you don't have to drive somewhere for dinner. It's a nice area and the beach was blessedly quiet. In the morning I was able to walk there in a couple of minutes and have a lovely sunrise swim. Henri and his wife are very welcoming with a nice energy, and made us a perfect breakfast to enjoy on the terrace of their beautiful front garden. Max (lovely big hairy cuddly dog) was a highlight for me too 🥰
