I stayed for several days in the Double room (the one which includes what BOOKING considers a 'twin bed'), and my entire stay has been PERFECTION! ABSOLUTE PERFECTION!! Look no further, this is where you'll want to stay in CDMX! Casa Lalique manager is very nice and helpful. My room was super clean, very spacious and pleasant. The place is super well located - the neighborhood itself (La Condesa) is super pleasant, and you can also easily access the other areas of the city which has many museums, the bosque of Chapultepec, etc. I have loved my stay in CDMX and I am certain that having stayed in CASA LALIQUE hugely contributed to this well-being feeling.

Downtown treasure place was a great place to stay- it was well located close to the metro bus (1 block away) and metro train stations (4 blocks away). The facilities were lovely- comfortable beds, many bathrooms, showers with hot water, great traditional Mexican breakfast (very tasty and different option each morning) and very helpful staff. Would definitely recommend you stay here if you are willing to use public transport.

Small-ish, family-owned hotel with a shared kitchen very close to the airport (2 miles/3km tops). The owner and staff are all very attentive and take good care of both the guests and their hotel. Fabian always makes sure everything keeps running smoothly and always listens when you point out an issue. A lamp goes out - he makes sure to replace it right away. Not enough space for the perishable goods the guests buy? He buys a 2nd fridge, lol. Señora Rosa is a wonderful lady as well, and the rooms pretty much feel totally renewed each time she goes through them, it's really great. The showers work just fine, and I never had issues with the toilet - just don't even think of throwing anything in there, in which case karmic justice will prevail. The surrounding neighbourhood is pretty nice - not too bougie, but reasonably pretty still, with a couple park zones and small gardens and such. It's located right by the highway but so long as you don't sleep with your windows open, the noise shouldn't be able to bother you. Makes accessing the hotel more convenient if nothing else. The shared kitchen is excellent if you prefer cooking your own meals as opposed to eating out. However there is a nice burger place nearby in case you get the munchies and can't be bothered to cook. The kitchen is well-stocked with implements (pots, pans etc), two fridges and a microwave. Has a washing machine that guests can use. The rooms are cleaned on a weekly basis, and the shared spaces are cleaned every day, so everything is always neat and tidy - so long as you don't go out of your way to make the staff miserable, which I hope you won't, lol, they're all wonderful people. Reasonable amount of convenience/grocery stores nearby, as well as a pharmacy right next door. There's also a market where you can buy fresh fruit, vegetables and meat nearby, look for Mercado Aquiles Serdán on Google Maps.

The location is very central, 4 minutes walk from the center. The place is very very quiet and peaceful. The bedroom was perfect, the bed so big and so comfy, as the first night after our trip from Europe I would not have dreamt better. Consuela is very kind and attentive. The shared kitchen is spotless with access to free tea, coffee and yummy biscuits. I highly recommend staying at casa Tamayo !

The building interior has a lovely old authentic feel to it, having been refurbished and beautifully brought up to date. We stayed in the Perseverancia Suite on the ground floor as my husband following an operation had limited mobility during our 5 day stay. (There are two or three steps but this was not a problem for him.) The room had lots of lovely design details, most importantly a comfortable bed, and a lovely bath to relax as well as separate rain shower. A modest but tasty breakfast was provided (yogurt, cereals, toast, jam, ham & cheese). The location was great, a few steps from the centre of Coyoacan, close to lots of restaurants. We ate one night from the organic café (Ecos something) a couple of doors down, and the Coyoacan curry was delicious. What makes this place really special though is the staff, who without exception seemed genuinely pleased to see us, and went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. I am not in the habit of leaving reviews, but this was a genuinely well deserved 10/10.

11/10 ⭐️ Highly recommended! Hostal-109 was an amazing choice. The facilities are spotless and well taken care of, the rooms are cozy and super comfortable, and the value for the price is unbeatable.     The location is perfect for the airport: a short walk away, which in the end we felt comfortable walking even with our suitcases, as the street feels calm and the right amount of busy. The room was charming, comfortably-sized and with an armchair! Kitchen facilities would be useful for a longer stay, although we only stayed one night so didn't need them. The building itself had a lot of charm: no anonymous hotel here! The street and building were both pretty quiet, especially for the location. The host is friendly, capable, and organised.
