We had a great experience at this cozy mountain hotel, perfectly located in the middle of many hiking trails, far away from the hustle and bustle. The access road is restricted by a barrier gate (code-operated), which keeps the area quiet and free from unauthorized vehicles. Our room was clean and comfortable, with a private bathroom and shower. We dined exclusively at the hotel restaurant — the breakfasts and dinners were delicious. Every morning, we ordered a packed lunch for our hikes, which was very convenient. The staff was friendly and helpful throughout our stay. It was definitely the right choice for us, and I can highly recommend this hotel to other travelers looking for nature and tranquility.

The food was good, especially after a whole day of tracking. The facilities were excellent.

We were four. Myself and my boyfriend and my brother and his fiancée and we all loved it. It is so clean and the food is simply amazing! I am not kidding. And they make you feel very welcome and you can tell they like what they do and they are warm people. I honestly recommend anyone to go there. There is also a lounge with TV, sofas etc. It is a great stay especially if you want to hike. It is so close to Cascada Valul Miresei. Just 15 min by car or even less. And from the parking space before the forest road you just walk another 10-15 min to the waterfall. Back to Popasul Motilor... trust me, it will be worth it.

What we've liked are the following : - super friendly and helpful owner - great pool and jacuzzi area - room was very clean - and excellent in all aspects - was too big but more than enough for our needs - bar was open - you took your beer, write it down at the counter - pay what you've had at the checkout - breakfast was really good - traditional style nothing to ask for more from my perspective. Overall an excellent place - even for more nights.

Great location close to the cave, not far from restaurants. A good starting point for hiking in the Padis and Glavoi areas. Fantastic breakfast with local products every day.

very nice staff, fresh amazing food and the cleanliness of the property was wow, extremely satisfied. we had a 2bedroom flat separated from kids, in both rooms furnitures/tv’s, quiet, fresh air, nice walks around and only 50m walking to the Bears cave.
