Very clean& smart & wonderfully comfortable. Linens high quality. Fittings & layout were excellent. Good security. Very friendly & helpful. Good wifi & heating.Toiletries provided & tea coffee sugar water & rusks. Shame it was only 1 night at a time as we returned after our Kgalagadi experience. The BIG fridge freezer was great to store our shopping ready for the Kgalagadi. Thank you, Lorraine.

I arrived early and the staff at the inn welcomed me kindly and were very nice to me. The room was very clean and there were no inconveniences with the facilities. The room was clean, the environment was quiet, and it was the perfect place to relax.

It was nice staying at Maarikal guesthouse, the staff is so friendly. We had no complains staying there, it is closer to everything, nicely on the Main road easy to locate. We are definitely coming back again.

There were 3 of us staying in 2 rooms for one night, we drove up to the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park and returned for a further one night stay 10 days later. The Guesthouse is very conveniently located in the heart of Upington, feels safe, small, quaint, very clean and they provide the most abundant breakfasts. All the staff are extremely friendly. They provided a reasonably paid Airport pick up and drop off service.

The place has an excellent location, on the river, and a beautiful garden. The very large pool was great pleasure during the hot days. Bedrooms , garden, restaurant and terrasse are beautifully decorated. The owners and the staff are just great. We felt very welcome, and we got all the help we needed as our car was broken down. Got a lift to the garage and car rental. We stayed longer than expected and everyone was friendly, helpful and looking after our well being. We could request for breakfasts and most delicious dinners. We will go there for sure again if we have a stopover in Upington. It can be highly recommended.
