We had such a wonderful time and were lucky to stay at villa (#7) that was only recently built. Berenice at the "reception" was such a great help by providing the best local dinner and activity information which we gladly made use off. Parking behind the fence and Internet were great too. The premise is very green with chickens, a pair of Tucan, birds and colorful plants and flowers. We enjoyed the pool and jacuzzi and prepared breakfast at the outdoor kitchen where coffee and eggs from the chickens were for free. By taxi/Uber it was just a couple minutes ride into La Fortuna but we can also recommend the restaurants opposite of Villa Tucan. We can highly recommend Villa Tucan and Berenice as a host.

L’établissement Le Petit Hotel se trouve à Fortuna, à respectivement 4,3 km et 5,4 km de ces lieux d’intérêt : Chutes de La Fortuna et Parc aquatique Kalambu Hot Springs. La plus belle cuisine extérieure et partagée de notre voyage. Propreté impeccable et bien équipée. Piscine top! Literie top !

The owner was so very helpful and warm and friendly. She gave us a great breakfast, helped us to figure out where to visit (hot springs, volcano, and ziplining). The location was outstanding. You can see both the volcano and a bit of the lake below, since you are perched up on a hillside. The patio was so very cool as well: swings, hammock chair, tables constructed from shipping pallets. All very sweet looking. If we ever come back to the area we will DEFINTELY stay with her again.

The place is located away from the crowds, in a quiet area surrounded by lush forest and with a volcano towering right above you. The scenery looks unreal! While the rooms are very basic, there is everything you need for a comfortable stay: the showers work, the kitchen is equipped, there's a place to wash and dry clothes. And the garden around the house is simply gorgeous! The host was super friendly and helpful and made sure we had everything we needed, even though we arrived very late.

L'Arenal Garden Lodge est situé à El Castillo de La Fortuna, dans le parc national du volcan Arenal. Une connexion Wi-Fi est disponible gratuitement dans l'ensemble de l'établissement. Le logement et la vue sont superbes ! Sergio est très accueillant. Il nous a manqué seulement un espace cuisine pour cuisiner pour notre bébé mais ce n'est pas dans la description de l'hébergement donc normal. Merci beaucoup !
