They were always available when needed and took the time to make sure I was comfortable, no matter the request. The hotel itself is spotless and very well-maintained. The rooms are spacious, modern, and equipped with everything you could possibly need. I especially appreciated the convenience of its location – it’s just a short distance from major attractions like Habu Temple, Valley of the kings and Queens, making it the perfect base for exploring the city. And let’s talk about breakfast – it was absolutely delicious! Every morning, I was treated to a wide variety of fresh, flavorful options. From traditional Egyptian dishes to international favorites, the spread was always well-prepared, and I could tell that everything was made with care. It was the perfect way to start my day before heading out to explore Luxor. Overall, this hotel truly exceeded my expectations. The staff’s dedication to providing a memorable and comfortable experience made all the difference. If you’re visiting Luxor, I highly recommend staying here. You won’t be disappointed!

Sofia Guest House has an outdoor swimming pool, garden, a terrace and bar in Luxor. It was very quiet, beautiful place with the swimming pool. There was a washing machine and the kitchen which was very convenient. The host was welcoming and here to help if needed. We arrived to the place very early and there was no problem, we were able to check in. Also the last day after checkout we left our bags and went to for sightseeing until we had to leave the town.

The staff arrange a tour for me with the guide Heragy, he is very knowledgeable My room was spacious with a large patio door and balcony 😊 The breakfast is copious too much foo for me and I had dinner, great food but again too much for me I highly recommend the place

Mohamed -the owner, gave us a great deal on a balloon ride that we’ll remember for the rest of our lives! Mohamed (the house staff) prepared delicious breakfast every morning and sang with us Adele’s songs:))) and danced with us! We felt at home and welcomed each day. The house is located in a quiet dead end street and you can only hear the birds singing in the morning… the patio provided a great sunny spot for coffee and meals. The owner even allowed us to check out super late in the evening time- which was much appreciated. we can’t wait to go back and hopefully the pool they were building would be ready in a couple of months:) more importantly- the Wi-Fi was one of the best speeds we encountered in all Egypt!

I have been to a lot of hotels all over the world, but this place had the best hospitality ever thanks to its amazing manager, Ibrahim. It was hard to leave this place and my friend and I will always miss it. Thank you for arranging our tour with Basry, and for taking us on a sail boat on our last day. We were well fed and taken care of. Will recommend this place to all our friends and family visiting in the future and will definitely book with them again when we come back.

From the moment of greeting to the final farewell, everything was great. Gaba was a really good host, and helped with everything we needed. The rooms were cozy and comfortable, with good views of the surroundings. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, and they made us feel truly welcome. He makes you feel as a part of the community and we made a good friend! If you encounter problems he is always there to help :) They make a fire in the garden every night and we could spend time with the host, the staff and other guests and share precious times together. The location was also perfect if you are looking for a quiet time to relax with easy access to the best sights in the west bank. Gaba helped us always and organized transportation to the east bank for us. He also organized the travel for us to Aswan and Abu Simbel. We can recommend this accommodation to anyone and will definitely be coming back! This was our first stay in Egypt and it was a welcoming and great experience! Thank you a lot Gaba!
