The ambience of this medieval inn was great. The beds are very comfortable, and the food at breakfast was fantastic. Dinner, with a reduced menu choice, was also good. Staff seemed eager to please.

SADLY WE WERE THERE WHEN IT WAS REALLY TERRIBLE STORM BUT WE MADE IT, WE CAME BACK TO THE ROOM AS THE ROADS WERE SO BAD WIT TREES DOW. THE BOOKING CONSISTED OF A LOVELY SITTING ROOM A SMALL KITCHEN/LANDING AREA BEDROOM AND BATHROOM. WE WERE GREATED BY TE HOST WHEN WE ARRIVED AND THEY WERE REALLY FRIENDLY.

It is in a perfect location away from the crowds of Burford, set in beautiful countryside. The pub and rooms had just been refurbished. The rooms were really cozy and the food was excellent. We visited lots of pubs in the area and this was definitely the best. The owner and her stuff were wonderful, welcoming and helpful, we would definitely love to come back.

It was comparable to the cost of a premiere inn or Travelodge but in our opinions so much better quality in terms of facilities and comfort.

This beautiful boutique hotel is a authentic building that relives history - nestled in a small town uninterrupted by time. The surrounding English gardens and animals. It was separated from the touristy sites but easy access to traveling the Cotswolds.
