Bathrooms are shared. Very clean, great shared kitchen, bedroom large and comfortable. The staff is amazing especially Monika who helped me pay a parking fine. She went above and beyond being helpful. A really lovely person that helped me and made my stay so nice.

We had the most pleasant hospitable experience during our Iceland trip . Breakfast is amazing . Staff is amazing . We rented 2 bedroom chalet and it was perfect for our family . Our kids enjoyed the hot tub . Location is amazing and mesmerizing . The first night of our stay it was a bit hot ,request the owner to hve a fan . However the weather was perfect the second night so didn’t face the problem again . No midges at all , so we got lucky staying by Mývatn lake . Would come back for sure . Highly recommended for families

Quietly located 5 km from Iceland's Ring Road and 13 km from Lake Mývatn, this family-run guest house offers views over Sandfell Mountain. On-site facilities include 2 hot tubs and a communal TV lounge. Free WiFi is available in the common areas. Wow highly recommended! First of all - the entire staff is amazing, pleasant, courteous, helpful and very nice. The room we received was very large, comfortable and clean, the shower room and toilet were also clean. Surrounded by endless scenery, can even see the smoke from the geothermal area in the distance. The hotel is about fifteen minutes drive from Lake Myvatn. There is also a very nice hot tub. Varied and delicious breakfast. Also a very nice dinner. It is important for me to add, the owner of the place is so nice! He helped us a lot, we were worried that we had a problem with the car and he helped us and fixed it.

Towels and bed linen are provided in the guest house. The accommodation is non-smoking.
