I can't say anything about the Gesthouse because one day before our arrival we were moved and upgraded for free to the other place which belongs to the same owners (Volcano House). And the Volcano House was just amazing, perfect, fantastic! Huge house (4 separate bedrooms, huge living room with the kitchen, private garden, private terrace, 2 bathrooms etc.), equipped with everything what's needed, very good wifi, private parking, in the center of Grindavik. It was really great and we didn't expected that! All that time communication with the owners was even more than perfect! Totally recommend that place!

Situated in Gardur, 48 km from Keilir Golf Club, Garður Apartments features a garden and views of the sea. Private parking is available on site at this recently renovated property. The guest house has family rooms. My friend and I stayed here for one night as a base for visiting the blue lagoon and returning our rental car to the airport early the following morning. It was perfect and had everything we needed, it was one of our fav places we stayed on our entire trip. There was plenty of towels and toiletries supplied, more so than bigger hotels we stayed at in Reykjavik, and the kitchen/tv are awas comfy. Beds were very comfy and spacious bathroom.

It offers free WiFi and its own geothermal hot pool. Andi and Yuki are truly the epitome of exceptional, welcoming hosts. When reading the reviews prior to booking it all seemed too good to be true. The minute Andi picked us up from the airport, however, we understood exactly what everyone meant. We only got to stay one night at 1x6, but in that night we got to connect with people all over the world, and made some new friends from Oregon. The added homemade breakfast as great, and they were ready to help with anything we needed. For our next trip to Iceland, we’ll for sure be back!

The room was clean, the beds were comfortable. Also the host left some good snacks for us. Although we had an issue with the toilet, the host gave us a different room to ensure that we still have a nice stay.

The Giantess in the Mountain art installation is within 500 metres. Reykjavík city centre is a 40-minute drive away. excellent location and the town was cute to visit, good kaffe restaurant at harbour and a troll house was a surprise

Keflavik International Airport is 20 km away. Everything was clean and comfortable to stay. We will recommend this place to everyone. Very closed by Blue Lagoon, volcano for hiking.

The host is a super friendly person. There are two hot tubs available and there’s not so many rooms in that motel so they never get crowded, actually we were alone there all the time. There’s a free parking right in front of the property.
