Bitra Guesthouse is a 40-minute drive from Reykjavík. Thingvellir National Park and Geysir are 50 km away. Northern Lights spotting is possible during winter. The guesthouse provided an exeptional experience with its helpful staff and enjoyable amenities. The owners gave us some nice recommendations.The bathrooms as well as the room was/were very clean. The breakfast, featuring local and fresh ingredients, was a highlight. Additionally, the unique feature of being able to view the aurora directly from the property added a special touch to the stay. Recommended for those seeking a comfortable and memorable experience.

On top of that, the cabin is pretty new and therefore everything inside is spotless and shining.

The guest house has private entrance. The communication from booking and right through our stay was brilliant from Dmitrii and Ögmundur. The cabin itself is gorgeous and the location is perfect. It’s located next to a restaurant but yet still isolated enough to enjoy your own company. The hot tub while surround by snow is surreal. I cannot fault this property one bit. We will be back and have been sharing the property details with our friends and families since we returned home.
