It's a guest house with only 3 rooms, so it's quiet and private. Had very welcoming staff interactions and this is a great place to stay and explore the local islands from.

It is spacious, modern, immaculate, and comfortable. We cooked a lovely dinner in the well-appointed kitchen (there is a grocery store within walking distance). There were a few condiments and other things should you need just a bit of something. We also did laundry (hung some outside and some in the bathroom with this neat air heating machine). The shampoo and hand soap is absolutely lovely and worth a mention. There are a couple fun extras like a mini ping pong table and a tiny gaming console. Shin is a lovely and kind host, providing route and sightseeing recommendations. We only wish we had stayed longer!

Situated almost exactly at the halfway point of the Shimanami Kaido, this property is the perfect rest stop! Kai, who greeted us and showed us our room, graciously helped us throughout our stay. He found me a multi-tool to tighten my bike saddle post and also helped me ship luggage last minute. We stayed here half way on the Shimanami Kaido. The host drove us to a absolutely beautiful onsen / bath house nearby, perfect after a days biking. She then made a reservation and dropped us off at a restaurant, one of the best meals we had in our trip. The accomodation is super spacious, clean and homely! A lovely breakfast was prepared before starting our second day. I could not recommend enough, we would definitely stay again if we come back.

This little traditional japanese house were very charming and very comfortable. The location is pretty remote and I loved it. I would highly recommend!

This hostel comes prepared with all of the information and resources you need to do the Shimanami Kaido. They also have a discount at a super nice local onsen. The facilities are nice and the value for this place is just incredible.
