Pour une nuit de passage c est parfait , si vous voulez un peu de calme , les avions peuvent déranger!

So much love and artistic attention to detail has gone into this place. Coffee, tea, and cocoa are available and we received home-made muffins each morning. You could spend all day here and on the beach outside. Be sure to go to the cafe on the first floor which is run by the same organization and is also very artsy and bohemian.

Barbara is an amazing host, she makes sure that you understand everything and she creates a healthy atmosphere. It is also very easy to talk with people and would recommend for people traveling alone. The old architecture gives the place a magical atmosphere.

The hospitality was impeccable. The host was always available for everything. Probably witnessed the peak of Japanese culture (with people being helpful in every way possible) here. The host (without even us asking him for anything) found that our shoes were wet after a trek put them for drying (on a drying machine) only for us to find the shoes all dried up the next day. Unbelievable. The location is walkable from the port and has house had everything you’d need. The kitchen and the shower was equipped with everything that you’d need during your stay. The house was small but very clean. Would highly recommend.

Mr Mori est très très gentil et accueillant, il nous a donné des informations, appelé pour nous les guides du Mangrove park, nous a aidé à choisir et reserver un restaurant. son gîte est vraiment bien, neuf, tres propre. la literie très confortable. cuisine équipée, lave linge. Grandes serviettes de bain très douces. Tout est à 10 minutes à pied (gares des ferries, bus, supermarchés, une dizaine de restaurants dans le quartier)

Comfortable stay and a very cheerful helpful staffs. Great conversation with hosts and also helped with my Ferry reservation when it was canceled due to high surf advisory. Restraunts, grocery stores, souvenir shops, and outdoor stores nearby areas.

L’établissement Guesthouse Coco Garage vous accueille à Kirishima, à respectivement 5,8 km et 20 km de ces lieux d’intérêt : Kirishima Jingu Shrine et Plateau d'Ebino. We spent great moments here. Inside the house, it is pretty warm. There are coffee beans and everything ready for us to make a hand drip coffee. I can’t wait to make one cup. The coffee taste so good and smooth, maybe this is selected beans. I connected the Bluetooth speaker and playing Mayumi Itsuwa’s songs. Music harmonized with the lovely chalet interior, the atmosphere is so relaxing and immersive. Kihara-san is very nice. The Shinyu Onsen he recommended is gorgeous. The hot spring water is wonderful. It is milky-white, so natural and so great. I guess it come from a sulphur spring. In the daytime, we hiked around Onamiike and Ebino Plateau. The crater lake is amazing and there are great views along the trails. At night, we do BBQ in front of the chalet. We rent a Charcoal Konro Grill set, it is really convenient. We bought some Japanese Wagyu beef for yakiniku from supermarket near Kirishima. The beef is yummy, really delicious.

Yuki and her husband are truly wonderful people. I highly recommend the Kaiseki dinner and the lunch boxes they prepare with great care and love – they are absolutely delicious.
