Safari, hiking, cafe, you name it. We recommend Yala for safari. We were lucky to see elephants, bear and even a jaguar with the guide suggested by the hosts. We went on 5-8 october. The view is astonishing and when it rains it's truly unique. They serve delicious breakfast. The coffee is great too. Comfy and clean beds. While here, we recommend at least 2-3 days in Ella, go to Little Adam's Peak for sunrise, go to Asanka Cafe for a view to the Nine Arch Bridge, go to Yala Safari if you have a day to spare, go to the Uva Halpewatte Tea Factory. Reading a book with a view and some tea at this accomodation was delightful.
