As an added convenience, the guest house offers packed lunches for guests to bring on excursions and other trips off-property. The host is a lovely, adorable and warm person. We stayed for two weeks in French Polynesia and in some fancy hotels. However, this place was by far the best in terms of feeling welcome and feeling the warmth of Polynesian people. The bungalow is super clean, modern and has a range of cooking facilities. The host prepared us some wonderful dinner for a very reasonable price that we enjoyed with a most beautiful view of Papeete. The host also picked us up at the airport and dropped us off again in the middle of the night for our flight home. It was just the perfect way of finishing our holiday.

Tamanu Lodge is a great property located very close to the airport! It is also close to a shopping mall and restaurants. The room was very clean, big and had all necessary equipment for a comfortable stay. The owner Vanina is an amazing person with a very generous and kind heart. She will make you feel at home and comfortable, make sure to chat with her! I’ll definitely be back on my next Tahiti trip!

Great apartment/room, very friendly host, great value for money, comfortable and has a little kitchenette. We rented the car from the location (reserved in advance) and everything was super smooth and easy. There is a great little restaurant walking distance away - and the nearby beach is really good for snorkeling. Papeete is an easy 20 minute drive away (though avoid rush hour!)

At the guest house, the family-friendly restaurant is open for dinner and serves French cuisine. Right by the beach and coral reefs. You can go snorkeling from the private beach by the Lodge. Also great surfing and swimming on black sand beach walking distance. Beautiful sunset! Very warm host and staff. An amazing experience!

This is one of the most idyllic and unique properties I’ve ever seen or stayed at. Quiet and secluded, amazing scenery and beautiful views.
