The location, host, the cottage itself. Everything was great. Spotless rooms and a fridge with food for the breakfast plus freshly made bread. The host was super friendly, he showed us cows and had a nice little chat with us. Really friendly dogs on arrival:). The cottage was very cosy, warm and equipped with everything you might need even for longer stays.

The owner is extremely helpful, he had even thought of providing some muffins and milk for us for breakfast. The house is spacious and perfectly located in the heart of Rosscarbery. The town itself is really beautiful and peaceful.

It was such a great stay. The host was super helpful before arriving to find a great spot to walk my dog. The key was just left in the front door, so relaxed & trusting. I was warmly welcomed but also had absolute privacy throughout the whole 2 days. The place was super clean, and had everything you need to cook, relax, do your laundry, have a bath...all the comforts you could wish for. The location is also great, with locals walks max 10min drive, or even starting from the house. A cute cafe/restaurant just down the road with stunning views (if the Irish weather permits ;-) Would certainly recommend it and come again myself ;-)

This is a unique place to stay. The remote nature of the properties add to the ambiance and relaxation experience of this beautiful venue. We were privileged to be some of the first guests to stay at Wild Hideaway and it did not disappoint. The view from the properties were beautiful and all of the extra amenities are a bonus. The hosts are so helpful and attentive when needed but really want you to have your privacy. This is an excellent couples get away very romantic, some fantastic hiking trails on the doorstep and it is pet friendly. The local village is very welcoming also. We cant wait to go back.

The house was beautiful and so clean and comfortable.Tim and his wife are beautiful people and so accommodating and Tim new the area very well and could tell us all the best places to visit loved listing to Tim's stories of the area.We will definitely go back it was a wonderful experience.

The Cottage was "as advertised" and very easy to find. Minutes out of Skibbereen and the local Lidl grocery store. The fridge had the essentials kindly supplied for our arrival. The cottage was clean and the rooms are of good proportions. Living room area has comfortable seating and there was a week's supply of wood for the fireplace - which we took full advantage of. The central heating worked a charm and the fire was for ambiance. Views out over the farm fields added a tranquility to our stay. Being Canadian, we had to ask about turning on the heat and power for the oven and stovetop. The Owner kindly popped over and sorted us out immediately. Very friendly and willing to help in any way possible. Fantastic Hosts!
