Truly a unique experience. We really liked how welcoming everything was from the begining. We found our names on a envelope at the lobby building, which included a warming welcome text from the owners as well as needed info for the stay. We arrived after dark and the lighting that guided us to our Igloo was magical. There was cold water waiting for us in the Igloo and we were very positively surprised by how the Igloo was nicely furnished, warm, and just like a hotel room in a 5 star hotel. They had thought of everything, even the privacy (that we worried a bit about before hand) was thought of with beautiful drapes to cover the whole Igloo. When we woke up the next day, the view from the Igloo was spectacular, there was this beautiful green field with a family of horses roaming around on it. We then got some free coffee in the lobby building and moved on with our journey with a smile on our face. We recomend this to anyone who is looking for an authentic and unique Icelandic experience.
