The house itself is big and comfortable, with a great kitchen area and a living room in japanese style. The property was very homely with lots of lovely attention to detail. The furnishings were high quality. There were also lovely details such as fresh flowers, snacks, mementos and brochures. The location was very peaceful with a beautiful garden - the owner even made us a love heart of autumn flowers on the lawn. We felt very cared for. The children were even given a gift on departure - Thank you!

The hosts are very kind people who do their best to make your stay as pleasant as possible. Since it is a rural area and there are no supermarkets close by the owner was kind enough to drive us to a nearby city to pick up our dinner. The house itself is absolutely beautiful and a great place to stay with small groups. We also received several drinks and snacks for free. For us this was the perfect way to end a day walking the nakasendo trail. I cannot give any higher recommendations!
