It was a cold but sunny day and inside it was bright during the day and warm and cosy at nighttime. The tower is full of character. Massive beams, cosy bedrooms and soulfully decorated. The ideal place to discuss an interesting book, reconnect and remember and celebrate the birthday of our mother who gave us so much during her life, including passion, curiosity, kindness and above all endless love.

The place is located inside a seperate house and immediately won us over with its friendly and tastefully arranged interior. Especially the kitchen was well equipped, offering a variety of tools and even some basic spices wich made cooking very easy and comfortable. The living room had a TV with several Streaming Services (Netflix, Prime, etc.) in Turkish, German, Dutch and English. Everything was clean, fresh and new. We stayed in Het Eiland as part of our bike tour and both the next supermarket (1km) and the coast (3km) were easy to reach. The host was really friendly and accomodating and we are looking forward to return someday!

From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by how spotless, beautifully maintained, and thoughtfully prepared everything was. The apartment is not only stunning but also incredibly cozy and comfortable – the perfect place to truly relax and recharge. We enjoyed the peace and quiet, the great location, and the overall atmosphere that made us feel right at home – or even better! :) We’re genuinely grateful for such a wonderful experience and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful, beautiful retreat.
