I had the pleasure of staying at Polaren by Norgesbooking for 7 days, and I can confidently say it exceeded all expectations. Despite the feeling of being immersed in nature, the cabin is surprisingly close to key amenities in Notodden. In just a short drive, we were able to explore charming local shops, restaurants, and cafes, making it easy to enjoy the local culture without compromising on convenience. There are also grocery stores nearby, which made it a breeze to stock up on essentials. Notodden is a quaint town with its own charm, and its proximity to the cabin was ideal for those looking to balance seclusion with access to daily conveniences.
