The place is big and the view from the terrace is superb. We stayed for 5 nights and felt much at ease. Communication with the host was perfect, and they were very helpful and accommodating. If you have a car you can get from here to many of the island's hiking spots quite quickly. We'd certainly stay here again.

What a beautiful view, what a nice place to hike and what a nice hosts. There's a lot of sounds here from animals, but that was part of the experience here. Waking up here was a gift; the cocks, birds, dogs, donkeys... No warm water, no WiFi, just nature. The food in the restaurant (we had breakfast and diner, also vegetarian) was good. People around were so friendly and helpful during our hike. We felt so safe. This was our favourite stay on Santiago. Thank you (obrigada)

Unfortunately, the baobab tree is no longer alive, but the beauty of the house does not depend on the tree. We had breakfast and diner made by Lida, the neighbour, and really enjoyed the meals (vegetarian) The fruits (papaya and passionfruit) were very delicious. Thank you.
