As I am a vegetarian, the hosts offered a wide variety of options that took half a table just for me:) The flavors are authentic, and the ingredients are fresh, making every meal a delightful experience. Overall, Aghdepat Hotel is a perfect getaway for anyone looking to immerse themselves in nature, enjoy hearty local food, and experience the hospitality of the Armenian people. Whether you’re visiting Haghpat Monastery that is just 10 minutes walk and absolutely breathtaking or simply looking to unwind, this hotel provides a memorable and rejuvenating stay. Comfortable room with a nice big terrace. But what was really great about our stay was Mary herself and also her mom. They prepared amazing breakfast for us, we had pleasant conversations and learnt a lot about Armenia. Mary welcomed us as if we were family friends and took care that we felt at home. Super host!

Amazing homestay. The place is perfect, 2 blocks from the monastery and with amazing views. Marina is very hospitable and accommodating. She cooks VERY well. Dinner and breakfast are worth it.

The only way to feel at home on a holiday is to stay in a home. That’s just what this is: the host’s summer house. It’s fully equipped and decorated and feels like being in your own holiday home. We loved the view of the mountains and canyon (photo from a hill just behind the house), being woken by roosters in the neighbourhood and the basket swing that our daughter loved. You can walk easily to Sanahin Monastery and it’s within easy striking distance of Haghpat, Aktala, Odzun and other very, very old churches and monasteries.

What a nice place, and greatttt food! Such a good feeling to come back after a long day monasteries, to get to a full packed table with all local made food, with great people! Perfect location in a historical house just next to the Sanahin Monastery. The hosts are a very friendly family and they make sure their guests feel comfortable and happy. They helped me to arrange taxis to all the monasteries located in the vicinity. The vegetarian breakfast was delicious and very reasonably priced.
