The hotel is located strategically in the heart of Lijiang Old Town. Joye's team also got up at the crack of dawn to bring us at the pick up point for the tour. They were also helpful that helped us pulling our luggage with trolley to the drop-off at the south gate. It was an unforgettable memory we stayed in Lijiang.

"A Hidden Gem in Lijiang Ancient Town" I'm still reeling from my incredible stay at Sky Cloud Hotel! Tucked away in a quaint little alley of Dayan Flower Lane, this charming hotel exceeded my expectations in every way! "Excellent Location" The hotel's location is perfect for those seeking a peaceful retreat amidst the bustling ancient town. I appreciated the undisturbed rest, yet enjoyed easy access to food, coffee, attractions, and shopping. "Warm Hospitality" The owner and staff members were exceptionally warm, kind, and responsive to my needs. From arranging a private airport transfer to carrying my luggage to my room, they went above and beyond to ensure my comfort. "Comfortable and Charming Rooms" My Queen Room with Terrace was a serene oasis, complete with a charming outdoor pool and a secluded garden perfect for workouts or relaxation. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and I slept more soundly than I have in months! "Amenities and Services" I appreciated the complimentary Chinese Tea Appreciation session, which was a lovely welcome ritual. The staff kept me connected via WeChat, responding promptly to my queries and requests all through my stay. "A Captivating Retreat" Sky Cloud Hotel is a true gem in Lijiang Ancient Town. We enjoyed our stay at Lijiang. The hotel is at good location because it’s close to the main road and walkable to the ancient city. The staff is friendly and supportive. He replied me very quick. Two lovely cats around and the room was just the same with the pictures. Staffs were not familiar with English but still very helpful in the property and by message either. It was very pleasant stay to be here and want to go back if I have a chance later.

First, let me talk about the service—it was excellent. The owner came out early to greet us at the entrance and even helped with our luggage. They also gave us great tips to avoid tourist traps. Knowing our group was large, they proactively upgraded our room. As for the amenities, the room had a bathtub—something many places don’t offer—along with a huge, very modern bathroom. The drinking water system was advanced, and both the air conditioning and hot water worked perfectly. Even the mirror had built-in lighting! The stay was incredibly comfortable. The location was also ideal—right in the ancient town. For those who enjoy exploring local markets, it’s super close to Zhongyi Market, making it convenient for early morning outings. Lastly, the price was unbeatable! (Oh, I almost forgot to mention the courtyard—it had such a charming vibe, exactly my style. Sadly, we only stayed one night.) I’ll definitely choose this place again next time I visit.

What made it particularly special was the hospitality. Joye gave us details of our hike to the Tiger Leaping Gorge, the rest of the staff all went above and beyond to make our trip memorable, we sure would go back to Lijiang just to see them again!
