A charming and comfortable hostel with the best possible location for travellers who want to explore downtown and enjoy a variety of restaurants. This is not your typical hostel. It’s larger than most other places, and you will get a guided tour on your arrival! We loved the privacy and the size of our large double room. Even better was the people running the place: everyone from the owners Samuel and Nancy to the employees. When we got into trouble, the owner spent so much time helping us that we will remember it for the rest of our lives. It took us four hostels, during our three visits in Bogota, to find a place to come back to. The real Colombia magic. Already looking forward to seeing everybody again.

If you want to have a "colombian family feeling" stay in this hostel with Diego and his fabulous parents. They are so awesome and warm-hearted. It is also a fantastic place for working or just chilling. The views and sunset/-rise from the rooftop are amazing 😍, additionally there are many shops, bakeries and local restaurants nearby to an adequate prince. The museos and plaza de Bolivar are just 10-15 min far away. Muchas gracias Diego y su querida familia. Regreso pronto.

Location was great. owner and staff very friendly. Received great tips for things to see, we’re treated to a delicious local drink. sugar cane with cheese. sounds weird - tastes great.

Casa Tsao is a wonderful place in the heart of Bogota. Carolina and her mother told me, to feel like at home, but they made it more than at home, with coffee to any time, an open house still for my friends, a beautiful clean room, with running hot water in my own bathroom, OMG, there are so many things to mention, I think, I will forget half of it.... She helped me, to find the right tour for what i wanted to see, they went with me to offices and restaurants, just to be sure, that I find the place and find what I need. Carolina talks good english, her mother and me communicated with google translator. I know, I forgot a lot to mention, e.g. the 2 beautiful verandas on the roof and more

The location iis excellent, at a walking distance from all important turistic places in bogota. It's located in la Calendelaria, the safest place in Bogota. Good showers, beds, and employees are extremely welcoming. I had a wonderfful stay in Casa Asteomelia, I felt at home.

The room was clean and spacious plus the bed was comfortable. Samuel (the owner) went above and beyond to help me out in retrieving my lost piece of luggage which didn't make it to the airport in Bogota from Mexico City (I finally got my luggage back after two days). He was kind and helpful with everything. When I'm in Bogota, I will definitely stay there again.
