Wonderful stay! Came here for 3 days and 2 nights with my boyfriend. Host was very helpful right from the start! The house is located in a tucked away canal so perfect if you’re looking for a place more local and quiet. The room is a basic set up with private bathroom. Very clean and AC was perfect for after our day adventures. The house is right on the canal. So peaceful and quiet. We enjoyed sunset walk along the canal to see more of the village. All the meals were homemade by the family and DELICIOUS. We enjoyed coffee and tea in the morning and at sunset as well with the family on the patio. Host helped us coordinate a backwaters tour and taking the local state ferry into town. We were very well taken care of from start to finish. I will definitely return here because of the hospitality and beautiful home

- An excellent location for vacation. It is quiet and peaceful. - To reach the stay everytime, there was a boat which used to take us from the road to the stay across the water. It was great experience every time. - We were provided by kayaks and we went for kayaking. It was quite fun and adventurous. - Food was good. Every morning we used to get special dishes for breakfast which were awesome. Overall awesome experience for a vacation and would like to visit again. 🤘

It was the most wonderful place in my entire journey so far. Starting from the people who run it, not only do they serve you a tasty breakfast in the beautiful garden but they are also happy (truly happy) to help you with any issue related to your journey. Then you have the place, a true oasis amidst the chaos of traffic and high noise levels characteristic of all Indian towns. Finally, the room is spotless clean, and arranged with taste and style. It's really a pity I couldn't stay longer.

One of my favorite homestays ever. The family is amazing—they’ll take great care of you and treat you like one of their own. The beach is right next door, and you can watch beautiful sunsets there. I can 100% recommend this place.

We loved Mayflower villa. Our room was big and clean with plenty of hot water. The villa is in excellent location, everything you need is short ride away by tuk tuk. The heart of this villa is the owner Susan. She is the perfect host who knows how to take care of quests and responds quickly and with great attention. She helped us arrange shikhara boat tour and gave us idea about which beach to visit. She also arranged car service for our next destination. We had a really nice time. Susan also made us delicious breakfasts and dinner. It was unforgetable. We really recommend this place if you want to experience real Kerala hospitality.
