Such a nice and quiet place to chill. In nature, by a river, looking out to the forest and mountains. Biju and his wife were very nice, friendly, and accommodating. The breakfast and tea breaks offered by them were fantastic. I can't complain. One bit of advice. Take the room on the upper floor. It's slightly more in price but worth it cos you'll have the whole floor to yourself. It's not big but it has a room and two balconies. One is big with a great river and mountain view where I used to have my food and sit for a long time. 🧡😎 Overall, super 👍

The vibe of this place is amazing. Very calm, zen vibe, room size is good, bathroom size on the smaller side. There is an open common area outside the room to eat breakfast or even do work (if it's not too hot). The staff are excellent! Friendly and very accommodating. The family lives below and they have 2 dogs who are just adorable. Breakfast is simple but delicious. 100% would come back here.

    This very welcoming home stay is the jewel of Thiruvanathapuram-Ponmudi road on the way to Ponmudi hill station. The hosts are extremely nice. One couldn’t think of more hospitable and attentive atmosphere. The kiosk located in the same building offers cold refresments and snacks until late, which is a plus on top of everything. You can also go swimming in the river straight from the yard.

    This is a homestay where the hosts are fully available to take care of all your dietary and stay related needs. The property is located on the banks of the Kallar stream and is very peaceful, with the Ponmudi peak in the background. You feel refreshed and relaxed by mother nature. I would stay at this place again.

    The best homestay in Kallar! The host Mr Biju and family is super friendly and accomoative. Really loved the stay there and you will feel as if you are staying at a close relatives house. They did not even charge us for dinner and tea we had. Also helped us lot. Totally recommend for families!! Also best suited for people trekking at morning to Agastyarkoodam or ponmudi are and use for a halt overnight!
