Our Home Stay and our last week in India was truly a rewarding experience. Santa Gurung and his lovely family made us feel so completely at home. Our lovely room was very private and we were able to have our breakfast on a sheltered balcony overlooking the valley and the Himalayas beyond, and their family’s flower gardens, fruit trees and vegetables, which often were part of breakfast. It is one thing to tour a new country, but it is so much more meaningful when you have the experience of getting to know your hosts. We left India, having seen so many beautiful temples and other special sites, but the feeling and the knowing that we had made friends, people we hope to see again, is the most precious of all. Thank you Gurungs for sharing a bit of your life with us. We will always remember you folks with love.

A perfect stay. Very nice ambience. Hosts are very nice, friendly and they guided us very well. We felt like home.The main thing is food prepared by the host are very nice and healthy, they give preference bro your likes and dislikes. I spent wonderful time in this homestay. It is a new small hotel, just a few rooms, just with two employees only, that’s why very silent. Furniture of a very good quality and very clean. Food was delicious. The surrounding area is very peaceful, just a few houses nearby – very peaceful – additional advantage for people like me, who is looking for silence. The staff is very polite and respectful. I spent three relaxing days trekking to the tea gardens, you can go left or right on the village road and enjoy the landscapes. My full recommendation.

I had a very pleasant stay in this property. The owner is an excellent host and the hospitality was excellent. The property is children friendly and it has a nice restaurant with the nice manner full staffs. I had booked the transport (from NJP to Kalimpong with sight seeing and drop at NJP) from the property itself and my experience was just awesome. A big thank to Mr. and Mrs. Gurung for their super communication and excellent hospitality.
