The host (Massimo) was a very sweet man who was very nice and inclusive. He did groceries every day, which we could use in exchange for some money. He even cooked for us twice, which was not only delicious but also fun as we got to know him and then found out he also played music. During those evenings, we played music together and drank wine. All and all, a perfect Italian night in the beautiful mountains of Cicogna.

Arianna was very nice and welcoming. The house is very cosy and the location is perfect if you plan for a relaxing getaway in the heart of vogogna. The room was very clean with nice setup and attention to details. It is completely renovated with great taste. Private bathroom and dressing.

This hotel was the highlight of the trip. Set in a beautiful old house in a wonderful part of the village, it felt like being a winter fantasy. The rooms were excellently equipped with artsy furniture. Restaurants and bars were a short walk away and parking was available for free on street level. The surrounding houses are equally jaw dropping. Check in was effortless and very Gen Z friendly as it was done entirely without needing human interaction. I would not only recommend this hotel and Santa Maria to everyone but am hoping to return again very soon.
