We got an upgrade to the junior suite and the room was gorgeous! It was spacious, nicely decorated and super clean. They even have a private pier for gondola ride right outside our room. The hotel staff Enrico was extremely nice and helpful. He gave us accurate recommendations for restaurants and places to visit in Venice. He even arranged a private gondola ride for us and it was amazing! Our stay in this hotel was the highlight of our trip and is the best stay throughout our 2 weeks travel in Europe.

Amazing place, well-located, with extremely friendly hosts, very clean (everyday cleaning with a personal touch, I would say). Generous breakfast. Comfortable bed. By the way, Venice in winter is wonderful! Just get dressed well and enjoy the absence of crowds and a special winter mood.

our room was amazing, so spacious, clean and full of light, we had channel view which made the experience even nicer. the location is perfect: close to everything still secluded from the crowds and noise. the Altana was also a great surprise. Leo was such a good host, always ready to help us with anything, including recommendations on how to enjoy better our time in Venice. couldn’t be happier with the choice.

Great localisation, good host friendly and helpful, plus 10% discount to a local restaurant with delicious pizza. Clean and tidy apartment, with canal view which we loved. Basics kitchen appliances more then needed for short stay. Highly recommended.

    This may have been the most comfortable bed we’ve ever slept on. Our room was tasteful decorated with thoughtful finishing touches. Riccardo is a great host who made us feel welcome and ensured we were settled into our room. We loved the location, and looked forward every evening to relaxing with locals for aperitivos.
