Without hesitation the best place we visited in Sri Lanka (during 6 weeks),.. this place (and island itself) has special atmosphere, laid back, slow tempo,.. do not be afraid of sleeping in tent (sleep was very comfortable), or having shared bathroom (amazing open space),.. bike rent and trip around the island is highly recommended,.. plus one personal advice - do not book any other night before coming here, there is big chance you would like to prolong your stay!
