We stayed in a room with a balcony and a wonderful view of the city. The room was very clean and beautiful, with everything we needed. The staff was polite and helpful, providing us with many little extras upon request. For a small fee, you can ask for a tuk-tuk ride anywhere, and they can arrange a tour at a good price. They even took us to the train station at 4 a.m. and helped us buy tickets—top-notch service, in my opinion!

I had an incredible experience staying here. The host and his family were absolutely amazing—so warm, friendly, and incredibly helpful throughout my stay. They went above and beyond to ensure I felt comfortable and well taken care of. One of the highlights of my stay was the delicious Sri Lankan food they served. Each meal was a delightful culinary journey, full of authentic flavors and prepared with so much care. The rooms were cozy and comfortable, providing the perfect retreat after a day of exploring. Everything was clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully arranged, making my stay even more enjoyable. Overall, I absolutely loved my time here and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a welcoming, home-like atmosphere with exceptional service and fantastic food. Can’t wait to return!

we loved how the place was designed meticulously by the owner himself. The room is cozy, quiet , surrounded by greens. AC works fine. The owners are friendly and approachable. They recommend us things to do in Kandy as well as easy way to catch the train.

We had a fantastic experience at the Grove. The staff are amazing, food is delicious, and the rooms are great. It's a bit outside Kandy, so the nature is beautiful and you're away from the noise. The staff can help you ordering a Tuk Tuk or with anything else you need

We had a wonderful stay at this homestay in Sri Lanka. The room was clean, quiet, and very comfortable, providing everything we needed for a relaxing visit. The hosts were incredibly kind and helpful, going out of their way to make sure we were taken care of. One of the highlights was waking up to the peaceful sounds of birds in the jungle—it was such a lovely way to start the day. The location is a little outside the city, but that’s exactly what made it so special. The tranquil surroundings allowed us to fully unwind while still being close enough to explore when we wanted to. I would highly recommend this homestay to anyone looking for a peaceful, comfortable, and welcoming place to stay.

The rooms are clean and comfortable, the location is quiet as it’s outside Kandy. It’s easy to get into Kandy or back to the hotel via tuk tuk. The family who runs the holiday home are very kind and willing to help with anything you might need, laundry, tours, questions about the area. I was bitten by a dog while in Kandy and felt I had a family looking after me and checking in. The breakfast is very good and there’s free drinking water.

The rooms are completely new, very cozy and 5 mins up in the hills above Kandy. Patty is one of the nicest persons we met and his wife cooked a very delicious rice and curry meal for us :)
