But the most special part of Nilowin is the kind, helpful family who run the guesthouse and the delicious, fresh, home cooked food in an idyllic setting. Our whole family took the cooking class and learned so much about Sri Lankan food and culture. I can't recommend it enough. The local village and tea fields are beautiful and relaxing. Everybody was so amazing and helped us organise our trips :) The food was also really really good! Shirodh was our driver for the 2-3 days and made our experience a lot better here!
