The owner was really very friendly and served us coffee and tea upon arrival. The room was clean with a nice view of the river, it also had air conditioning. We were even treated to an excellent breakfast, although it is not included in the offer of the accommodation. The swimming pool that is available is also clean and very little crowded.

Spacious double room with a/c that worked well. Bathroom was lovely and clean and all facilities worked fine. The shared areas were always kept clean by staff, good amount of space to watch TV, dining tables for meals and spaces to work.

A gorgeous oasis hidden away from the somewhat hectic streets of Colombo. It’s an easy walk to some ancient temples, the mall and plenty of great restaurants and shops. The hosts are so kind and welcoming. Great breakfast and coffee! This place offers serenity, silence and calm. It just oozes a zen-like state of being.

Besides beautiful linen and a comfortable bed, there was a frig in the room, rock solid wifi, a lounge to socialize, and a small kitchen if you wish to cook. A great location and a hostess who was extremely helpful with city information, and any other global issue you wanted to talk about:)

We had such a great stay here. The room was super comfy and looked exactly like the pics. Everything was super clean and well taken care of. The host was amazing—really helpful, super welcoming, and made sure we had everything we needed. The bathroom felt like a mini spa, honestly… such a nice vibe. The living room was spacious with a massive TV and Netflix which we made full use of. We went for the Continental breakfast and it was so delicious. And the bed… wow. Probably one of the comfiest beds I’ve ever slept in. Could’ve easily stayed in there all day. Overall, super cozy place, great design, and amazing hospitality. Would 100% stay again without a second thought.

    Great host. Really helpful in nature, peaceful location, a bit farther away from main attraction area of Colombo, a bike/scooter/tuk tuk/bus needed for commuting between Galle face, Pettah, Fort area. Great budget option. Really homestay like feeling, finally stayed there for more than one instances, the owner became a friend, still in connection with her. Without a word she agreed to keep our luggage when we were out of Colombo for further journey. Would like to repeat the same option of staying here.

    Shiranthi is a lovely host. She gave us a lot of useful information and made us tea every morning. The location is a little outside of Colombo but reachable very easily and cheap by local bus. It felt like home for 3 nights. We would definitely recommend
