The family is lovely and helpful. The young boy was my favourite, we spent lot of time together and he is also an excellent driver. The lady is always smiling and great cook and the dad very helpful. I had a great stay and price was very good too. Very close to the lake and temple area.

The room was impeccable clean, the balcony was a great hang out surrounded by the splendid view of the rice field, what a treat ! Then we had dinner prepared by the house, it was absolutely delicious, highly recommended!

Binara and her family's house is beautiful, in a very good location and very quiet....plus they make you feel at home. they are incredible people always trying to help, the local food they serve is delicious. I would definitely stay at their place again if I ever return

We had an amazing stay at Aruna Homestay over the new year. They invited us into their home and treated us like part of their family. They invited us to celebrated the new year with them. It was an amazing experience and Aruna and his wife and daughters are truly amazing hosts. The room was clean and comfortable - no complaints there - as advertised. We were able to also rent a scooter from Aruna to go exploring more the ancient city which was very helpful. All in all we had a fabulous time - only sad that we could not stay longer.

Sahan Guest House was an awesome find! The welcome was warm and genuine — I was even greeted with a refreshing welcome drink, which was a great touch after a long trip. The room was super clean, air-conditioned, and really comfortable. WiFi was fast and reliable, which was perfect for planning my day trips and staying connected. The location is perfect — right in the city, close to everything, and just a short ride to the ancient city. Super convenient if you’re exploring the cultural sites nearby. There’s also fast food and other restaurants nearby if you’re craving a quick bite. Honestly, the hospitality here is top-notch. Sahan and the team really care about their guests. It is located really close to the ancient town and to a beautiful lake where you can watch the sunset. The host is incredibly friendly and helps you with everything. The breakfast with the fresh fruit was exceptional. I would always come back.
