We came from a rather bad experience in Kuala Lumpur, so this hotel was such a breath of air. During our 5 week trip, we stayed at 13 different hotels, from affordable hostels to luxurious 5-star resorts and everything in between! Rushkokaa Beach Villa gave us the best customer service of all our stays. What made our stay so memorable, apart from the obvious beauty of the island and it's people, was the warm hospitality, the amazing food we were served by chef Anu, and the great customer service from the most service-minded worker Sufiyan- They felt like family at the end of our 4 night stay and we were sad to leave! It would not be the same without them. They taught us about the culture and they left a lasting impression on us- we made memories and also friends. The hotel is RIGHT ON bikini beach! Food: Where do I even start? For breakfast, they offer us two options: Local and continental. We opted for the local breakfast, which my friend liked so much she kept chasing the same experience on all other hotels, however no other chefs could even compare to the way Anu cooked it! My favorite part was that there were a new dinner menu every day. We got two options, and me and my friend would order one option each; that way we got to taste 8 different dishes- all so good!! You tell the chef the day ahead if you'd like dinner and at what time, so he can shop for groceries. It made it such a personalized experience. I told him my favorite food, and there were at least 3 dinner options with that ingredient. On our last night, they prepared a beautiful dinner on the beach under the stars. Unforgettable! In comparison the other hotels in Fulidhoo had MEEH americanized food. If I could re-do my trip to the Maldives, I would cancel my stay in Gulhi altogether, and stay at Rushkokaa longer. I can not emphasize enough how the two staff Anu and Sufiyan and the food made the stay as great as it was. You can not go wrong with booking your stay at Rushkokaa Beach Villa.

I live my heart there! All are ready to help you and very kind! The food was very tasty, I think the cook is the best on the island!! You can use there everything what the guests hause has like SUP, canoe, snorkeling mask as well as the fishing gear. They bring the umbrella for you on the beach if you ask. The room was clean and every time you desire they will clean it for you! We felt like to be in a family! The beach and the sea were wonderful! The excursion was incredible! We will come back for sure again!!

I had the most wonderful stay at the guest house, and I truly can’t recommend it enough. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with genuine warmth and hospitality. The place is beautifully maintained, comfortable, and full of charm — a real home away from home. What truly made the experience exceptional was the team, especially Shariq and his staff. Their kindness, attentiveness, and professionalism stood out throughout my stay. Every detail was taken care of with care and thoughtfulness, making me feel valued and relaxed from start to finish. Thank you, Shariq, for creating such a special atmosphere — I’ll carry the memories of this stay with me, and I look forward to returning again!

Great location! Right next to the dock where all the ferrys come in (2 minute walk max) and it was right infront of the sea, great place to stay, would’ve been happy to stay longer if we weren’t Island hopping

Amazing island, great and heartwarming hosts, it is family owned so you can feel they are very attentive to guests, willing to please any requests that one may have. Big rooms with big balcony. Amazing service and great location

Very good location, directly on the beach! Very kind and welcoming host! Since there are not many options to eat on the island, my advice is to ask Moosa to prepare dinner or lunch for you! we did this and every day everything was delicious! Thank you!

The accommodation was amazing, and Picco, the owner, is a fantastic host—he made us feel like it was our second home. The breakfast was excellent. The island is small and very easy to explore on foot, and the accommodation is right in the heart of Fuhldoo. Crystal-clear waters unlike anything we’ve seen before. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and had a lovely courtyard! Thank you so much—we highly recommend it!

Their hospitality is incredible! All the hotel staff, from the person who took us on excursions to the woman at reception, from the one who managed the rooms to the one who did the cooking, absolutely everyone treated us wonderfully, with naturalness, without being overwhelming, making us feel at home. The hotel is by far the most welcoming on the island, it is located in front of the beach a few steps from one of the two bikini beaches on the island, next to the pier, so if you go on excursions you are literally 1 minute away. You can also go out to see the manta rays in the water all the time, it's quite peculiar, as well as the sharks at night. The hotel offers varied dinners and the dining room is super nice, in fact, if we weren't on the beach we were there, reading a book or sending a message (the wifi also reaches the rooms). The beds are big and have air conditioning and a fan, which is much appreciated! Another thing we really liked is the area in front of the hotel, there are hammocks for those who want to use them and, every afternoon at the same time, the children of the island come down to play on the shore near the hotel and they are lovely, as well as their mothers, it is perfect to get to know the local life of the island. Everything was perfect. The staff were amazing, especially Fazlan, very friendly and helpful. The food was also great.

Staff is accommodating, food options are good compared to other cafés/bnb on the island.
