I had a truly wonderful stay at this Kattel homestay. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, making me feel right at home from the moment I arrived. Everything was perfectly maintained, clean, and comfortable. The surroundings were peaceful, creating the ideal setting for a relaxing day. It's an amazing homestay, the owner showed me the must visit temples due to my short stay.We also had family dinner with other guests, sharing what was the day of us. The breakfast was delicious and healthy . The room was organized and clean, though it's an old traditional house but you still had a spiritual vibe, can't wait for coming back soon.

Good facility with plenty of solar powered hot water, clean, well situated at the center if Kathmandu, away from the more touristy Thamel, very safe. A genuine Nepalese experience in a great neighbourhood. I stayed February/March 2025 and only left because it was fully booked beyond the dates I initially booked. Im hopeful its available next trip! Bobby owns and operates the place and made my stay awesome, picked me up from the airport and took me to many places it would have been difficult to arrange to go to; showed me all the essential shops in the area (theres a great convenience store downstairs) and gave me many tips on how to navigate the city's peculiarities. Thanks, Bobby! See you next year!

Great stay. We loved the room, the space, the really comfort bed. But most of all, what a beautiful family this is. We really loved them. They can help you with everything, from store you luggage during a trek to provide a trekking. We already booked through a other organization but next time we definitely book through them. We made friends for life! Place is really good. You can or grab a taxi to tamel or walk around. There are also some places to eat nearby but they also cook fantastic themselves.

The place is magic! I loved to hear the nuns pujas in the early morning and afternoons, and I have the opportunity to attend it in the morning of my departure at 5 am. I also enjoyed the healthy and abundant breakfast, it changed everyday and it was always delicious. For a small extra fee, I joined the nuns for dinner, the food was vegetarian and also yummy, but the best was talking to the young nuns (as young as 5 years old) and eating together. The staff is fantastic, they are helpful and gave me great recommendations for places to visit. They have trusted taxi drivers and they negotiate the rate before hand. I also used their airport transfer on arrival, it was perfect.
