This is a fantastic place, very comfortable with good aircon. Staff were very welcoming and helpful, amazing breakfast well worth it. Only disappointment was the the restaurant is only open on weekends but we got good advice on where to go

Smartno village and the Aldila Art Rooms is an absolutely stunning location. The actual hotel only has a few rooms but they are very well done and stylish. The location is really special and it's very small which makes it feel even more personalised. So gorgeous.

I absolutely loved this place. It was very peaceful and I found it incredibly calming staying here. The views across Slovenia go all the way to the sea on a sunny day and we're beautiful. Great room and great facilities.

Very nice stay with lovely hosts. We received a welcome and goodbye gift which was very sweet of them. The room with terrace was great. Comfortable bed and everything you need. The breakfast was really good. A lot of different options and fresh out of their garden. Both hosts are really kind and want to make the best stay out of it.

If I could rate it higher than 10, I absolutely would! Everything about our stay was absolutely amazing, from the spotless cleanliness to the warm, genuine hospitality we received upon arrival. The host went above and beyond to make our visit truly special, and we can’t thank them enough. The entire house is stunning—both inside and out. It’s not just a place to stay, it feels like a work of art. Beautifully designed, cozy, and full of charm, it gave us a warm, welcoming feeling throughout our visit. Apartment was located in 3 apartment building for guests - during our stay we were the only ones, therefore nobody bother us or did we. The pool was great refreshment! Otherwise - quite remote area. The apartment had a conditioner in the main room. Bathroom is located next to sleeping room (so, no privacy for adults, if kids are walking through the room for bathroom :) ). The bathroom was quite warm place due to the water-boiler which heated up the room a lot, meanwhile the water stream was uneven from hot to cold, but it wasn`t too critical - maybe some upgrade for boiler would be needed. Kitchen rather small and basic - if hosts would place there some salt & sugar, it would be great :)

    We stayed here whilst walking the Alpe Adria trail. It had everything we needed and was clearly a favourite of the locals. Unfortunately we'd already eaten so didn't have an evening meal but the breakfast was delicious and the scrambled egg were the best of our holiday. They grew their own apricots and made wine. They left a couple of bottles in the room to sample on the house and they were delicious. The hosts were friendly and welcoming.
