The location was great for us. The amenities in the room were thoughtful and the bathroom was comfortable and well equipped. There was free parking right outside on the street. Vince, the host, gave lots of information about the neighborhood and followed up to make sure everything was going well with check in process etc.

At the beginning, I was skeptical: no reviews on Booking.com, the deposit for potential damages was too high, and the payment wasn't through Booking.com but another website. In the end, the owner and I agreed on a lower rate since I was only staying for two nights. The room was clean, fairly new, and everything was fine. Access to the accommodation and the room is via a code, and it was completely hassle-free. I highly recommend both the accommodation and the owner; he was always available and kept me well-informed.

The outdoor was being updated so it wasn’t safe for us to use since we had dogs. The backyard wasn’t cleaned up from all the renovations still happening so we weren’t comfortable using it. The heating system was not working so we couldn’t turn it on ourselves but the host we kind enough to do it for us. Over all it was a pleasant stay but we wished we could have used the backyard too as it was the main reason we booked that place.
