It was an absolute delight to get to know and interact with the host/owner, who did a fantastic job restoring a house that’s over a 100 yrs old keeping its charm at the same time giving it a fresh interior. He was even kind enough to allow me to keep my extra luggage in the store room until I got back from my hike. The room was really nice and clean and I was treated to a wonderful breakfast,the following morning, in the beautiful backyard.

There is a private entrance at the guest house for the convenience of those who stay. Boasting family rooms, this property also provides guests with an outdoor fireplace. This guesthouse is up on the quiet hillside. It is a short, 10-15 min walk into town (steep, single track path through nature). There is a beautiful grassy area to enjoy and soak in views. There is a heated pavilion (wood fire stove) where we enjoyed our meals when it was cold/rainy. Plenty of outdoor seating when weather is nice. THE FOOD WAS AMAZING.

This is a new guesthouse with comfy rooms and very good showers (there is good water pressure in the shower, not something to take for granted in a place like Theth). The breakfast was nice, and the hosts are warm and welcoming. There is also a small fridge in the room. Definitely recommend staying here :)

I stayed at Serenity Guesthouse for two nights, and my experience was truly exceptional. The more I praise this property, the less it feels. What makes it special is not just the location, but the incredible people behind it. The guesthouse is run by Paulin, with his wife Olga and daughter Pamela, and they are among the warmest, most genuine people I met during my entire trip in Albania. Their hospitality was beyond expectations — down to earth, caring, and always making me feel at home. The effort they put into everything, from preparing delicious breakfasts to guiding and helping with local information, was outstanding. It felt less like staying in a guesthouse and more like being welcomed into a family. The location is perfect, right in the center of Theth Valley, surrounded by nature. All major attractions are within walking distance (just 2–3 km in the hills), but honestly, you could simply sit on the balcony and enjoy the breathtaking valley views without going anywhere. This was one of the most memorable stays I’ve ever had. I wholeheartedly recommend Serenity Guesthouse — it’s not just accommodation, it’s a true Albanian hospitality experience.

At the guest house, all units are soundproof. The units are equipped with heating facilities. This was an “experience” location. The hosts are amazing and Nebije is very anxious to make your stay lovely. She runs her own business with looms to make rugs and other products as well as running the B&B. It was amazing to see her work in her home with her employees and watch the three of them make the rugs. We videoed them and what a treasure to see the process. She’s very proud of the tradition and art form and with good reason!!! The rooms are nice and very clean. Beautiful view of the lake. The only challenge is the drive and the steepness with a lot of stairs. Don’t book if you can’t climb stairs. Breakfast was all homemade and fresh and brought right on time.

During your time staying in this recently renovated guest house, dating back to 2015, you will have access to free WiFi. The accommodation offers a lift, luggage storage space and currency exchange for guests. Clean, comfortable room in a great location. I don’t realize it was a shared bath when I booked but it was fine . The host is extremely responsive and helpful.

At the guest house, the units have bed linen and towels. The rooms were very nicely furnished and the beds were comfortable. The bathroom ammenities were also top notch. We had a great time staying at Serenity. The hostess did not speak English, but she was very nice and welcoming regardless.

This guest house features a garden as well as a bar. Featuring family rooms, this property also provides guests with a terrace. This was probably my best experience in Albania in terms of accommodation. A quiet place in a small village, where all cars or tourists arriving at the Blue Eye are out in the evening. The room is small but clean. The spacious bathroom with a bathtub was great for relaxing after a long day of hiking. The nearby restaurant (the same owners) with a great view serves a very rich and delicious breakfast, enough to take with you on your hike. Giovanni made sure that my stay was perfect. And he did a great job :) Highly recommended!
