The owner is super friendly, helpfull and I enjoyed a great breakfast with fresh produce every morning. Even car rental was taken care of. Casa JPi is located on the seafront in São Pedro, 100 metres from Sao Pedro Beach and 12 km from Torre de Belem. Featuring full-day security, this property also has a restaurant and a sun terrace. The guest house features family rooms. Beautiful location with panoramic view of the beach from the room. We could see the turtles from the balcony. Jean Pierre is a very friendly host, everything is possible. Perfect end or start of a holiday.

Really comfortable space, inside and out. Christina was super friendly and helpful during our entire stay and kept herself available throughout our visit. The rooftop patio and accessible fridge/kitchen space was super convenient during our stay as well.

Very clean place with comfortable bed. Location is in a quiet area, about 20 mins walking distance from the ferry and 10 mins to the center. Filomena, the owner, is amazing!! We were only there for one night before our ferry to Santo Antão but when we went back to Sao Vicente she let us leave our luggage there while we explored the city and then let us take a shower!! Highly recommend!

Fabulous place to stay in Mindelo. Safe neighborhood and close to the center (10 min walk). The actual property is a room with ensuite bathroom inside a bigger apartment where also family lives on the premises. The kitchen and living room are shared. The room is big, clean and comfortable. Great breakfast included in the price. Also for a modest extra charge it's possible to eat dinner/late lunch with the family. This is highly recommended as the most of Mindelo restaurants are closed during daytime and the restaurant food is mostly mediocre anyway. The homemade dinners are freshly prepared and tasty, excellent value for money. The owner Antonio is very helpful and a great source of local advise and knowledge. Many thanks to the owner for helping me with many practical tasks while in Mindelo, it would take me a lot more time and effort to figure it out by myself. Would not hesitate to stay here again. If you are in Mindelo, look no further.

This was my favourite place in Cape Verde.
